Manley hit two hole in ones, back to back

Norman L. Manley stepped to the seventh tee at the Del Valle Country Club course at Saugus, California. The date was September 2, 1964. He hit a prodigious drive, and the ball bounced, unerringly to the green and into the cup. He had scored an ace, one of the longest ones on record. But the best was yet to come. On the very next hole, the 290 yard eighth, Manley, bubbling with excitement and confidence, his another mamoth drive. As if directed by radar, that ball landed smack in the hole! Manley had hit two holes in one, back to back, scoring six strokes under par for the pair.
