Mozart wrote a symphony when he was eight years old


Mozart was the greatest musical genius the world has ever known. His accomplishments were so breathtaking that they are hardly believable; yet the amazing facts given here have all been authenticated. He could hear any peice of music and recite it from memory. Once, Miserere was preforming, and the Pope made it illegal for him to perform anywhere else. Mozart went to his room and wrote the score to the whole performance! Before he died in 1791, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had produced some 600 operas, operettas, concertos for piano and string quartet, sonatas for the violin, serenades, motets, masses, and many other types of classical music. Perhaps the most astounding fact about this prolific and brilliant production is that Mozart only lived to the age of 35.
